| Every river seems to establish its own rhythm for each night paddlers are often surprised that they've picked another's exact camp site on the bank. Sometimes they can be generations old but still recognizable, and other times absolutely historic and long forgotten. After so many hours on the water mankind remains the same. Once the daylight begins to grow short a suitable landing with ample fuel and protection is sought. It was the same for David Thompson as for the native traders before him as it is for the guests frequenting our lodge. |
